I was previously a teacher of Drama and Theatre, yet the desire to bring my love of music, stories and our human story to the stage led me into the world of music-performance: musical, operetta and opera.

In The UK, I now dedicate my energy to the teaching of singing, role-coaching and general vocal guidance.

Fascinated by people and voices from a very young age, I can now help other people discover their own personal sound - their unique voice - whether through singing or speaking.

I continue to learn and teach about the amazing sounds we can all make and how to cultivate this into what we call singing, from childhood sounds and song to our various cultural and folk traditions; performance singing in all of its varied forms.

All of this requires A Voice.

I give individual lessons to:

• complete beginners who want to ‘find’ their voices, maybe join a choir or just sing for themselves or friends or with family;

• also, many sessions to choir members needing help with parts or languages;

• to individuals who want to write and perform their own songs;

• to young and older alike, who are learning pop songs, musical songs for pleasure and, maybe, performance;

• to cabaret writers and artists;

• to all professional stage singers of opera, operetta, musical.

The purpose of absolutesinger.com is to offer my 25-years and 1000s of hours of technical-repertoire-training to those who want to train with me to thoroughly understand their own voice.
